PLAY YARD CONSTRUCTION GRANT:
Does your shelter need fencing repairs or construction to keep canine play groups running? Animal sheltering organizations currently creating or implementing permanent play group programs for the enrichment and socialization of their shelter dogs may be eligible for up to $10,000 to be used for play yards.
Play groups are important for the enrichment and socialization of dogs in shelters but fencing construction costs can be a barrier to implementation. Animal Farm Foundation encourages animal shelters to include play groups in their daily care routines by considering proposals that would allow shelters to expand, repair or newly construct play yards.
