We offer a variety of programs aimed at addressing the complex problems we face in our work to secure equal opportunity and treatment for “pit bull” dogs. AFF awards Grants to build partnerships and provide support to local and national animal welfare organizations who are working to secure a better future for “pit bull” dogs. AFF trains “pit bull” dogs for their future roles as Assistance Dogs and then place them with individuals who will benefit from their support and specialized skill sets. AFF provides a free Internship Program with hands-on training opportunities for shelter professionals. AFF supports the development of empathy and critical thinking in young people through our Humane Education Program.
